Jo Beth had wanted four children, but she was truly terrified at
the thought of going through the unbearable arthritis agony
again.  That's why she decided to get pregnant right away,
before she had time to think about it and let the fear build up
even more.   

Her rheumatologist was FURIOUS.  Here they had just gotten
her close to an even keel again, health-wise, and she was going
begging for more trouble.  

This time, the attempt to get and stay pregnant went just fine.
Five months after Justin was born, Jo Beth was pregnant again.

Jo Beth wasn't entirely crazy.  She did decide to stop at two.
